Suitable for ages 8 – 16, a technology project that focuses on beatboxing and vocalising alongside singing.

By making music that young people would choose to listen to, they instantly engage and want to make their voices heard. Beatbox Orchestra is aimed at engaging boys who might think of singing as not being for them, but it is equally suitable for girls. It teaches teamwork, cooperation and builds confidence. It also proves that music is for everybody, showing that everyone can make music that they’re proud of, even without access to instruments and expensive equipment. We help young people to find their voice through music – and then keep using that voice in their everyday lives.

Developed in partnership with Entrust Music Service. Commissioned by the North West Midlands Music Education Hub to support whole class ensemble teaching and the National Plan for Music Education Singing Strategy.
