Share a Song to Help Children Belong this December as part of our 12 days for Christmas Campaign. Make Some Noise needs supporters of all ages.
Make Some Noise is passionate about music and believes music brings people together, particularly children and young people and can be used as a catalyst for positive change to inspire and improve well-being. No child should be lonely.
Through this appeal which runs from 4-15 December 2018 Make Some Noise is aiming to raise well needed funds to help provide further free music workshops for children with learning needs, disabilities and mental health issues across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
You don’t have to be a professional musician or singer to take part. Make Some Noise would love to hear from anyone! Local bands or choirs or anyone who just loves music, enjoys playing an instrument or singing along to their favourite tune! Why not gather a few friends around and take to the mike for an impromptu gig, all for a good cause?
Simply upload a video clip of the performance of the song, share it with Make Some Noise online via our Facebook Page – tag @makesomenoisewm Make your donation and challenge your friends to do the same.
All donations welcome. Donate by texting SONG42 £2 OR £5 OR £9 to 70070 or go online here
The culmination of the campaign will be a fun event on Saturday 15 December from 10am – 4pm at The Guildhall Shopping Centre, Market Square, Stafford ST18 2BB where Make Some Noise will be taking over one of the vacant shop units with live performances from some of the charity’s project participants, professional musicians and staff. Members of the public are invited to come along and join in the fun and will have the opportunity to perform and share their songs also.
