Becoming a parent can be both exciting and daunting, but made easier if there is a group of positive people who can lend a hand and offer a bit of advice.

Music, dance, singing and creativity has such a feel-good factor that, you’ll be able to relax and have fun.

Because we’d like to help out during this challenging time, we run free, weekly club sessions, for young parents.

Our sessions are currently paused due to funding, but watch this space for when we can hopefully re-open again and support all young parents who live in Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and Tamworth.

If you’d like to get a better feel for what the group is like, watch this video, co-produced by the young parents who attend these sessions.

We have a specialist team of workers who provide fun and engaging sessions.

Each week there will be live music, dancing, action songs which will help participants to learn about ways to support child development such as speech, crawling, sitting and clapping.

All of these songs are easy to remember and will help calm babies when upset and help soothe them off to sleep.

Throughout the months, representatives from local groups come to share information about the support they offer covering issues such as Healthy Eating, Sexual Health, Mental Health and Postnatal depression, looking at finances, housing options, benefits, employment, training and childcare options

Being involved in this project will help build confidence in own ability and knowledge of where to go to access support.
