Make Some Noise would like to thank everyone involved with the Jammerfest memorial gig, which takes place on Saturday 29 November 2014 in Cheltenham, for choosing them as their nominated charity.

Jammerfest is a very special charity live music event to celebrate the life of highly talented drummer, Jamie `Jammer’ Airns, who tragically lost his life after a car accident just outside Droitwich in July 2012.

The event, which will take place on Saturday 29 November at The Venue, Cheltenham at 6.30pm, will help to raise funds for Make Some Noise to enable them to provide further specialist music projects to help move children and young people beyond disadvantage.

Mike Jurgens had the idea to bring Jammer’s Evesham based band WRECKAGE back together again (which Mike sang in for three years from 1988-91) for the first time in 25 years and to create Jammerfest, with the blessing of Jamie’s partner, Deb, and family.  A collection of Bands, which all have members, who were on the same circuit 25 years ago, will perform. All profits will be donated to Make Some Noise.
