Make Some Noise is joining forces Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce to launch a Business Community Choir. This is a chance for the local business community to come together to try something new in 2020.
The choir is perfect for those looking for a New Year’s resolution that will boost their wellbeing and let them meet new people. Facilitated by Make Some Noise, members will be supported by their trained specialists, given encouragement and guidance if needed.
The choir will meet every fortnight at Commerce House, Festival Park, subject to interest. It’s a chance to get together and sing popular and contemporary music in a relaxed and welcoming environment, with the potential to perform at business events in the future.
Tim Sharp, CEO of Make Some Noise, said:
“We are really pleased to be working in partnership with Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce on the Business Community Choir. We know from the work we do with vulnerable children that singing releases feel-good endorphins, regulates stress levels, reduces anxiety and widens your network of friends. I have no doubt our Business Community Choir will deliver the uplifting power of music, offering people the perfect end to their busy day. A healthier mind will mean a healthier you – a perfect resolution for 2020.”
Sara Williams, CEO of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said:
“I’m delighted that we’re working with Make Some Noise to support the wellbeing of our local community. The choir is a great opportunity for busy people to destress and have some fun.”
