Fifteen talented young musicians from Burton-upon-Trent and Swadlincote have recently released three charity singles following an inspiring four day music industry masterclass.
The group aged between 13 and 19 years spent an intensive four days with music industry professionals writing, performing and recording their own original tracks in a unique project delivered by Make Some Noise and funded by the National Foundation for Youth Music.
The three bands played live to a full audience at the Brewhouse Arts Centre, Burton upon Trent in September debuting their new songs accompanied by singer/songwriter Laura White. Each track has been released and is now available to purchase on iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, Spotify, Apple Music and You Tube. All proceeds from record sales will be donated to Make Some Noise music charity for future projects with young people. The tracks were entirely written by the groups and inspired by the support they have received from their families encouraging their musical careers as well as the advice they had received during the masterclass.
Taking part in the ‘Wired for Sound Futures’ project has helped build their confidence and self-esteem as well as songwriting and performance skills.
